I'm not sure how convincing this tutorial is. When I first picked this sample picture I thought it was more obviously underexposed... but now it looks fine, and my changes look mostly nit-picky. Oh well. The idea is to get people accustomed with some basic post work.

I don't think it's that nit-picky. You made an obvious improvement to the picture, and the tutorial is easy to follow. I do not use GIMP and I know how to adjust levels, but one of my friends just started out, and I think she can learn alot from this.

Thats a good one! I am gimpin already for some time but I still dont know all the functions of this little things (eg. levels).
